About us
Soccer has historically been a sport that has provided opportunity for those with underprivileged backgrounds. Pelé's rise from poverty to soccer stardom symbolized that pathway. Soccer requires very little equipment, making it accessible to everyone. However, rising costs and privatization in the US has lead to our great sport being priced out for many families. "Pay to play" has become the norm.
At St. Johns Football Club, we are dedicated to cultivating an inclusive, nurturing atmosphere that empowers young athletes to develop and flourish in soccer, irrespective of their economic background.
